December at Movies on Main Street takes a slightly different look at the holiday season. We’ve selected four films that capture the spirit of the season without giving us the same old Christmas movie lineup. From outrageous comedy and holiday chaos to romance, family, and nostalgia, each film offers something different—and each has earned its place as a movie worth seeing on the big screen.
GREMLINS brings mischievous ’80s fun to Christmas.TRADING PLACES delivers sharp comedy with Christmas as the backdrop.THE APARTMENT gives us a bittersweet, beautifully human holiday story.
And MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS closes the month with warmth, music, family, and old-fashioned holiday magic.
