Some haunted-house movies make you jump. The Changeling gets under your skin.
George C. Scott gives a powerful, deeply human performance as a grieving composer who moves into an imposing old mansion—only to discover that something from its past desperately wants to be heard. No cheap gore, no endless screaming—just atmosphere, mystery, and a growing sense of dread. This is sophisticated supernatural horror at its finest, and the kind of film that proves what you don't see can be far more frightening than what you do.

Funny, romantic, spooky and wonderfully atmospheric, Practical Magic has grown into the kind of movie people don't simply watch—they return to it every fall.

Based on Ray Bradbury's beloved novel, this beautifully dark fantasy sends two young boys into a terrifying battle of good versus evil when a mysterious carnival rolls into their small town. Jonathan Pryce is unforgettable as the sinister Mr. Dark, while the film creates an eerie October atmosphere filled with autumn leaves, carnival lights and childhood fears.
It's not a slasher. It's something stranger—and much more haunting.

THE WICKER MAN

Mystery & Thriller/Horror (1974)
Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward and Britt Ekland headline this brilliantly unsettling British folk-horror classic, in which a devout police officer travels to a remote Scottish island to investigate a missing girl—and discovers a community with very different ideas about faith, nature and sacrifice.
Beautiful, strange, musical and increasingly disturbing, The Wicker Man builds its nightmare slowly until the final moments become unforgettable.
