George A. Romero’s 1978 classic isn’t just a zombie movie — it’s the zombie movie that changed the rules. Four survivors barricade themselves inside a suburban shopping mall while the dead gather outside, creating an unforgettable mix of horror, dark humor, suspense and social commentary. The mall setting gives Romero plenty of room to have fun with consumer culture while delivering some genuinely nerve-rattling moments.
If you think you know zombie movies, this is where much of the modern genre began. Dawn of the Dead is creepy, outrageous, surprisingly funny and still remarkably effective. Come see why this cult classic remains one of the most influential horror films ever made.

You asked for it… and you got it! When we gave our audience several choices for a replacement Halloween-season movie, there was a clear winner: An American Werewolf in London. John Landis’ 1981 horror classic is one of those rare movies that manages to be genuinely scary, wildly funny, completely unpredictable—and still a whole lot of fun more than four decades later.
Two American backpackers traveling through England take a wrong turn, encounter something they definitely should not have encountered, and set off one of the most entertaining werewolf stories ever put on film. Add unforgettable makeup and transformation effects, a darkly comic sense of humor, a terrific soundtrack, and just enough British atmosphere, and you've got a perfect Movies on Main Street Halloween-night experience.
Forget the usual Halloween suspects—this one was YOUR choice! If you've never seen An American Werewolf in London , this is the perfect opportunity. And if you remember it from 1981, come back and see if it still gets under your skin. You asked for it. We listened.
